If your hormones aren’t balanced, you are most likely experiencing negative symptoms that are decreasing the quality of your life. If your hormones are imbalanced, you will experience symptoms, but there is a solution, and we want to help you experience all of the benefits of balance and hormone health.

How Often Do You Need To Get Hormone Pellets?

Typically, those who undergo pellet therapy must schedule follow-up treatments to have new pellets inserted every six months. One of the benefits of hormone pellets is that your body interprets exactly what it needs from the pellets and uses the bioidentical hormones accordingly. In high-stress situations, your body will use increased levels of hormones to maintain balance so that you never feel deficient.

If you want to experience a form of hormone replacement therapy that doesn’t require that you do any of the work yourself, you will love pellet therapy. With as little as two follow-up treatments each year, you can maintain balanced hormones and enjoy all the benefits that come from a completely balanced system.

What Are Hormone Pellets?

Hormone pellets are a form of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. These pellets are smaller than a grain of rice, but the benefit is, they contain a customized dose of the exact hormones that your body needs to achieve balance. These pellets are prescribed for your unique needs.

They are made of bioidentical hormones, which are hormones that are molecularly identical to the hormones your body creates naturally. These pellets are administered just below the skin’s surface in an area with fatty tissue, typically the hip, and will balance the hormonal system for up to six months at a time.

What Are Bioidentical Hormones?

Bioidentical hormones are natural hormones that come from plant-based sources like soy and yams. These hormones are natural and don’t cause any adverse reactions like the synthetic hormones of the past. Synthetic hormones come from unnatural sources, like the urine of pregnant mares, and using them to balance the body can lead to some serious health risks.

Bioidentical hormones are just the opposite. They come from completely natural sources and will only benefit the body. They will also help balance the hormone system long-term, promote hormone health, and, in doing so, will help protect the body from age-related diseases like early-onset osteoporosis, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

The Benefits of Hormone Health

Hormone pellets are so beneficial because they begin working as soon as they are inserted into the body. Upon insertion, they will be immediately absorbed by the bloodstream will deliver the hormones that the body needs to obtain balance. This method doesn’t require the use of shots, patches, pills, or creams. Instead, all you have to do is show up at our office, and our experts will take care of the rest.

These hormone pellets will restore balance to your body and, in doing so, will alleviate symptoms associated with your hormone deficiency so that you can live a balanced life. This bioidentical hormone replacement therapy method is seamless, quick, long-lasting, and effective. Once you begin the treatment process, you will get all of the hormones that your body needs to restore vibrancy to your life without having to self-administer hormones.

How Does the Treatment Process Work?

Your Initial Consultation

The pellet therapy treatment process takes place over the course of a few different steps. First, you’ll schedule an initial consultation here at our office with one of our experts. The purpose of this consultation is to determine your exact hormone deficiency so that we can identify your hormone levels and move forward with the pellet therapy treatment process.

Determining your deficiency and your hormone levels allows us to obtain the right dosage to address your unique needs. To determine your deficiency, we’ll take some diagnostic tests to get a better idea of what your exact deficiency is. Typically, this diagnostic testing is done through a standard blood panel. Then, once we receive your results, we will evaluate them, discuss them with you, and begin Soto Pelle pellet therapy.

What Are Soto Pelle Pellets?

At Premiere Center for Health and Wellness, we are proud to offer the number one hormone pellet provider, Soto Pelle pellets. These pellets provide just the right amount of hormones that your body needs.

The entire treatment is simple and safe, and you only need a few treatments each year to maintain balanced hormones and all the benefits that accompany this treatment. This treatment can help both men and women suffering from hormonal imbalances finally achieve balance and improve their quality of life.

Your Treatment Session

When you come to our office for your treatment, one of our experts will situate you in a treatment room and prepare your skin for the pellet insertion process. Pellets are typically inserted in an area that has fatty tissue, typically on the hip or buttocks. One of our experts will cleanse the skin in your planned treatment area and then apply a numbing solution to the area.

This numbing solution is designed to help you maintain optimal comfort throughout the entire treatment. You won’t feel a thing, and the entire treatment is virtually painless. Once the skin has become numb, one of our experts will make a tiny incision in the skin, insert a pellet, and then cover the area with a bandage. The entire process takes approximately ten minutes to complete, and then you’ll be able to go about your day.

Your Follow-Up Treatments

Once you undergo this treatment, we will schedule your follow-up treatments as needed to ensure that the dosage in your prescribed pellet is delivering the exact amount of hormones that your body needs to achieve and maintain balance. At these follow-up appointments, we may perform additional diagnostic testing to determine the current state of your hormone levels and make adjustments as needed.

We won’t ever leave you out on your own but instead will walk through each step of the process with you, from your initial consultation to your follow-up treatments. You can expect to schedule as few as two pellet insertion appointments each year to maintain balanced hormones long-term.

Is There Any Downtime?

Once your treatment is over, you won’t have to worry about planning around any significant downtime. We will provide you with a list of aftercare instructions to protect the pellet insertion site after your treatment is over. You typically will be asked to avoid lower body workouts for the first few days following your treatment to allow the incision to heal and the pellet to remain undisturbed.

A Quick Recovery

Upper body workouts and light walking are fine, but anything that puts stress or strain on the lower body must be avoided. You may also be asked to avoid getting the insertion area wet for a short amount of time to protect the incision and the pellet.

You’ll be able to resume all your normal daily activities relatively quickly. The implanted pellet will begin working immediately, and you will begin to experience all the benefits that come from balanced hormones within days of the treatment process.

What Is a Hormone Imbalance?

Hormonal imbalances occur when your body doesn’t produce enough of the hormones that it needs to function optimally. Both men and women can suffer from hormone imbalances at different times, and while aging is the most common reason for a hormone imbalance, it’s not the only reason. For women, menopause often leads to hormone deficiencies but so too do multiple pregnancies, lifestyle changes, stress, and other factors.

For men, andropause, also known as male menopause, is most often when testosterone levels begin to decline and lead to deficiencies. Lifestyle factors, disease, and genetics can play a role in causing a testosterone imbalance.

What Are the Symptoms of a Hormone Imbalance?

There are some very telling symptoms that indicate your body is suffering from a hormone deficiency. Men typically suffer from low testosterone, and women suffer from low estrogen or progesterone. Some of the most common symptoms experienced by both men and women include the following:
