Medical Assistant and CoolSculpting Technician
Joellen is one of our dedicated Medical Assistants here at the office. She’s gone by “Jo” her whole life and that is how we know her here at the office.
Jo graduated from college in 1995 and was practicing as a registered X-ray technician. We are happy to say she has been with our office for a few years now and is a model patient for the benefits of hormone therapy herself! She found hormone replacement therapy 5 years ago on her quest to find more energy and tone up her muscles. In the process, she also said goodbye to annoying night sweats.
Jo uses her own experience to help and motivate our patients. She explains, “My goal is to motivate and teach patients how to use hormone therapy to their full potential. Meeting new people and telling patients that BHRT is nothing short of a miracle is my favorite part of the job”.
Along with being a great MA, she is also the Coolsculpting technician here at the office. Jo is great at making the connection; identifying abdominal fat that is often caused from hormones being out of balance. From her own personal experience, she can relate “I’ve struggled with my weight and low thyroid function since my 20’s. When Jo is not busy running around with patients at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids. One of which is in college and the other in high school. She certainly has her hands full, but in the best way.
